දෛනික ඉංග්‍රීසි | Daily English | The Story Of The Last Man - P13

The Story Of The Last Man*
A thriller, where what you see is not what you get!

*This is from a movie script that was never produced due incomplete work. Maybe now we can complete it and use to learn English in the same time.
Part 13

They finished the meeting successfully and rest of the day was busy too as usual.

John used to go to one particular restaurant for dinner during weekdays and it was like a habit. The place was bit dark and very peaceful, may be that is why he liked it. It was a quite relief from his busy work hours.
He finished his dinner and thought to take a little walk. He liked to take long walks in the dark after work, it kind of helped him to relax and burn some calories.

While he was walking, he started to the think about the mysterious old man, Morgan again, and in a while he saw Morgan sitting by the side of the sidewalk, the same way as he saw him last morning in his dream. John said “hey” and started to walk towards him. Morgan didn’t open his eyes till John came to him.

John started talking as soon as he came closer. “Hey, are you Morgan Patrick?”

“”Yes, John, you can call me Morgan.”

“Jesus, I know you man. I,.. we met last night in a dream, I mean technically today morning,... but how can it be possible?
I went to the cafe today morning as well but they don’t know you. You came to me in my dream but,.. but there is no way that you know about it. It’s impossible because it was only a dream.” John paused for few seconds and he looked really confused.

Then he asked “Well, you don’t know about that dream or our meeting in that dream, right?”
