Part 9
Narrator:
John needed
all his team players to be seated at the sales floor by 9AM every morning. He didn’t care of client meeting or any other bullshit. He just
needed them there on time.
Sales floor was a big conference room which was
the office of the entire sales team and no one had cubicles. Not even John who
was the manager and the leader. The concept of no cubicle for sales staff was
brought XL System by John himself with his promotion as the team manager.
Originally, everyone hated it while the directors loved it. It was very cost
effective for the company and very productive as everyone is always under
watch.
Why previous managers never thought of it? Maybe
they were not smart enough to work out this highly productive work culture or
maybe they just wanted to waste their time in big offices and brag about it.
But John, he never bragged anything but he was
the youngest team manager and the most productive man in the history of XL
Systems.
As he came to the room, everyone said “Good
morning John”. John went to his seat and looked at them.
“Morning,... Every client believes in what they
were told to believe. If you tell your clients that XL Systems is a software,
they will believe it. That’s why you should never say so.”
